This statement highlights JJ’s commitment to advancing policies that strengthen mental health care, and actively supporting legislation, regulations, and executive actions that:

  • Increase access to mental health care by making quality care easier to get and easier to afford.

  • Promote wellness, prevention, and early intervention by expanding youth mental health services and advancing reasonable safeguards for artificial intelligence.

  • Improve crisis response for anyone experiencing a mental health emergency so they receive compassionate and effective care when they need it.

  • Strengthen the mental health workforce so more people can get the care they need, no matter where they live.
